Blessing of Prayer Shawls

On Sunday, September 29th, we gave thanks for the work of the Crafts & Chats group, which meets every Tuesday morning at the church, for the beautiful prayer shawls they have made to be shared with those in any kind of need.

While we know that God is always present in our lives and that God's love transcends all tragedy, illness and pain - we also know that sometimes a physical reminder, like a prayer shawl, can bring hope, healing and peace to someone who is in need.

We hope and pray that these shawls will bring comfort and peace to those who receive them. Many thanks to the ladies of the Crafts & Chats group, who took such great care in making them.
